According to The Real Deal, East New York is getting yet another new residential project, this one from Catholic Charities of Brooklyn & Queens.
The organization is in the planning phases to build a 73,000-square-foot building with 155 units at 2367 Pacific Street. The property will have eight stories and will stand 80 feet tall.
In 2016, the city began to rezone East New York, and the community has experienced development resurgence. Some notable projects include a 2,100-unit affordable housing complex from Gotham Organization and New York’s Christian Cultural Center, a 218-unit housing complex from Pennrose Properties at 50 Pennsylvania Avenue and two hotels from Nehalkumar Gandhi at 51 and 55 Sheffield Avenue.
