“We congratulate our agents on the monumental success of the New York Cares Coat Drive. With so many homeless people needing a warm coat, we are proud of Agents for coming together to make a difference in our communities,” said Sara Rotter, executive director of sales of the Downtown Offices for Halstead. Rotter is the co-leader of Halstead Helping Hands together with John Wollberg, executive director of sales for Halstead’s Park Avenue office.

Most American home owners veer away from color when it comes to decorating their home.

A new survey by Better Homes and Gardens found that 57 percent of readers say that their walls are generally neutral.

Those who are not afraid of color opt for shades of blue (62%) or green (49%).

More than half the home-owners surveyed (58%) said that orange is the color they are least likely to decorate with, followed by black (43%) and violet (42%).

While many report that the front door of their home is white (24%) or has a wood finish (23%), the majority of readers (48%) say their front door is a different color (blue, green, red, brown, gray). Only five percent have a black colored front door.
